THE AMERICAN STORY

FAMILY VALUES

Semi Bird is a career American who has spent a lifetime in service to his country and community. Semi started his life's journey in the ghetto of East Oakland, California. He was born to a single mother of seven children, prior to the passing of the Civil Rights Act.

Semi's mother ensured that Semi was raised in a Christian environment and held accountable for his actions. Victim behavior was not tolerated in the household because Mrs. Bird wanted her children to become strong and resilient members of society.

Raised in Seattle since age 7, Semi struggled in K-12 and dropped out of high school after completing his junior year, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, knowing that if he wasn't furthering his education, he better be prepared to make something of himself, some way, somehow. This set him on a path where he'd eventually enroll in the U.S. Army in 2001. From there, despite his lack of schooling, he had positioned himself for a bright future. And that is all his mother had ever hoped for; a child who could take care of himself in this tough world.

Semi's mother raised him in a Christian environment, where he was always held accountable for his actions. 'Victim mentality' was not to be tolerated in her household for the simple reason that Mrs. Bird believed firmly in taking control of one's own destiny despite outside circumstances. In her eyes, this would ensure Semi and his siblings' growth into strong, independent, resilient, and positive-contributing members of society.

"When you end your life's journey and you want to know who was responsible for your success or failure, look in the mirror."

WE MUST TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK

The battle for the soul of our nation is no longer at our doorstep. It’s now in our living room, relaxing on the couch, making itself right at home. This requires action from every patriotic American who values freedom. I ask every American to take this pledge with me, made famous by Ronald Reagan during his first inaugural address.

AMERICA FIRST

Yes, America First! We must finish the work President Donald Trump started. He showed us how hard we should expect our leaders to work and how unwavering we must be in our fight against the political, media and tech elites. In our district, American and Trump flags are still proudly flying throughout neighborhoods and farms. He gave us hope, and I will fight to build and improve upon his progress and success.
